We craft mission statements, set intentions, and design vision boards encompassing our dreams for health, career, relationships, and personal growth. But what if we extended this practice to the places we call home? 

We considered it a success; however, we plan to make a few key adjustments as we prepare for future cleanups.

The boundaries of Mid City are: Woodrow Wilson Avenue (North), Mill Street (East), Fortification Street (South), and Bailey Avenue (West).

The purpose of a “Walk and Talk” is to bring residents and neighborhood stakeholders together to talk about the needs and assets in their own neighborhood and to collectively identify solutions for implementing the change they want to see.

Mid City held a community cleanup on January 6, 2024, to remove litter and beautify the community.
