Colonial Heights West, located in West Jackson on the Capitol Street corridor across from the Jackson Zoo and Livingston Park, is working to strengthen its neighborhood by building relationships with city leaders and community organizations. These efforts are focused on accessing necessary resources and information to improve the area.

After discovering the vacant building on a walk around the neighborhood picking up trash, Founder and Jackson native Stephen Brown (aka 5th Child) realized that his Briarwood Heights neighborhood and the surrounding North Jackson needed an art-based community center that was accessible to all.
